Class of 2022 Senior Day and College Decisions

Congratulations to our Senior Class on an incredible four years at PCRA! This class persevered through the pandemic that began right in the middle of their time in high school and they all came out on the other side even better, faster and stronger! Their college decision list is incredibly impressive and we cannot wait to celebrate them at our Captains Dinner on May 19th. This class has been involved with many of PCRA’s best results at various regatta over the years and have been instrumental in helping us grow in both competitiveness on the water and roster size. Some of these results include 4th place in the Girls Varsity 4+ at the 2021 Head of the Charles, 5th place in the Boys Varsity 8+ at the 2021 Head of the Schuylkill, and two Top 20 finishes in both the Girls Varsity 4+ and the Boys Varsity 8+ at the 2021 Youth National Championships in Sarasota, FL. They have served as Captains of their respective teams, been great role models for the younger athletes, have been significantly involved with our community service outreach and have helped teach the sport to kids during our Summer Learn to Row programs. To top it all off, many of our Seniors have successfully been recruited to these schools as student athletes and we are humbled and proud that they are all choosing to continue on with their rowing careers.
